MiSight® 1 day contact lenses are daily disposable soft contact lenses designed for children with myopia, also known as nearsightedness. They help children see clearly while also helping slow the progression of myopia in appropriate candidates.
At InnoVision Optometry, we offer MiSight® 1 day as part of our personalized myopia management program. Dr. Su will evaluate your child’s prescription, eye health, age, lifestyle, and readiness for contact lens wear to determine whether MiSight® 1 day is the right option.
MiSight® 1 day lenses are soft contact lenses worn during the day and discarded after each use. Because they are daily disposable lenses, your child starts with a fresh, clean pair each day.
Unlike standard contact lenses that only correct blurry vision, MiSight® 1 day lenses are designed to correct nearsightedness while also helping slow myopia progression. For children who are ready for contact lenses, this can be a convenient option that provides clear vision without relying on glasses throughout the day.

MiSight® 1 day may be a good option for children who:
Because MiSight® 1 day lenses are contact lenses, Dr. Su will also evaluate your child’s eye health, tear film, lens handling ability, and comfort before finalizing a treatment plan.
During your child’s myopia evaluation, Dr. Su will review their prescription history, assess their eye health, and discuss your family’s goals. If MiSight® 1 day is recommended, we will perform the appropriate contact lens fitting and evaluate the lenses on your child’s eyes.
For first-time contact lens wearers, our team can provide insertion and removal training so your child learns how to handle the lenses safely. Parent involvement is important, especially in the beginning, to help reinforce proper hygiene, wearing time, and lens disposal.
Follow-up visits allow Dr. Su to monitor vision, comfort, lens fit, eye health, and myopia progression over time.
MiSight® 1 day is one of several myopia management options available at InnoVision Optometry. Depending on your child’s needs, Dr. Su may also discuss Essilor® Stellest® lenses, Ortho-K, or low-dose atropine therapy.
There is no single best treatment for every child. Our goal is to help your family understand the benefits, limitations, and responsibilities of each option so you can choose a plan that fits your child’s eyes, lifestyle, and comfort level.
If your child’s glasses prescription keeps getting stronger, MiSight® 1 day may be worth considering. Schedule a complimentary myopia management consultation at InnoVision Optometry in Rowland Heights to learn whether MiSight® 1 day contact lenses are right for your child.
